Welcome to Sobriety by the Sea, a beloved AA tradition celebrating nearly four decades of fellowship, recovery, and community. Each September, members from local areas across the region gather in beautiful Crescent City, California for a weekend of inspiration, connection, and celebration of sobriety.

Since 1986, Sobriety by the Sea has brought together AA members for an annual rally unlike any other. Held at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds in Crescent City, California, this cherished tradition has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the recovery community.
Whether you’re celebrating one day or many years of sobriety, everyone is welcome at the table.

Beach Front Park in Crescent City. Starts after the city parade is finished. Fireworks at dusk.
AA Camp Out. – August 21-22-23, 2026
This AA camp out will be located at the Boy Scout Camp about a mile east of Gasquet, CA.
